Anclote River Park is located in Pasco County at the mouth of the Anclote River.
The Anclote River Park is relatively small and covers approximately 31 acres. It is a popular destination for locals who love it. It is a popular destination for its beach, fishing pier, excellent boat ramp and picnic pavilions for outdoor gatherings.
The park is also popular among paddlers because of excellent wildlife viewing and because there is convenient canoe and kayak launch access.
Many native and migratory birds can be seen near the park and in the area. Dolphins and manatees can sometimes be seen around the beach and in the Anclote River.
The Anclote River Park is very popular among boaters because it offers convenient access to the Gulf of Mexico, Tarpon Springs and Anclote Key, which is only accessible via boat.
There is also a boat ramp and trailer parking. The boat ramp has 24-hour parking and overnight boat trailer parking is available. There is a modest fee for the boat launch and parking.

Anclote River Park Beach
The park is beautiful and generally calm. There is a swimming beach with approximately 300 feet of waterfront swimming area, which is marked as a swimming area.
The beach is generally shallow and sandy. The maximum depth in the swimming area is generally less than 10 feet deep.
The beach can become crowded during busy times.
There are also designated fishing areas, picnic pavilions, volleyball courts and playground facilities. There are on-site restrooms with outdoor showers and changing rooms.
Lifeguards patrol the beach from late May until late August from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

There are artifacts and historical markers, including an ancient Timucuan Indian burial mound and a historical freshwater well used by the Timucuan Indians.
This mound is one of only a few which remain; countless archeological sites like this were demolished and used for road construction material.
